Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship

Dr. Jerry Brewer, has been a member of the Mayo Clinic staff since 2009, currently serves as the surgery fellowship program director and although being born in Utah is loving the mid-west! 

Dr. Brewer is a Professor of Dermatology got a master’s in clinical and translational research early in his career and has served on various committees and leadership roles for the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Board of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology, currently serving as President of the American College of Mohs Surgery, and as a Director of the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Brewer’s interests outside of his job include running, rowing, swimming, cooking, learning languages (currently learning German), dabbling in guitar, coaching soccer and basketball, taekwondo, medical humanitarian missions, learning new things (recently Solo’d for flight school) and being pushed to his limits by his wife and 7 children (who convinced him to go bungie jumping off of a 54 story sky scraper in Aukland, and recently went cliff jumping off of a 40 foot cliff from the southern tip of the Big Island, Ka Lae, Hawaii!!).
